Cascade was created as part of the Lux Projection Project. I designed and executed a short film called "Cascade" that was projected on the side of the more than four story Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library. I recorded the paint dripping down the canvas as I created the Cascade painting over more than three hours, then condensed and edited that footage down to seven minutes. It was designed to create the illusion of paint pouring over the side of the building.
The painting used only red and blue pigments.
Cascade was featured in the March 2015 Waterfalls exhibition.
